I am a professor at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky where I work on issues related to visual design in technical communication. I also manage the YouTube channel More Than Memos, creating accessible media about the field. At Western, I teach classes in Technical Writing, Texts and Technology, and Writing Across the Disciplines.

Before Purdue, I earned my MA in Professional Communication at Clemson University and a BA in English and Education at Illinois State University.

In my free time, I repair old boomboxes and other tape players. During the NFL season you can also find me on TikTok.
